City Engagement

Throughout the Bible, we see evidence of God’s heart for the downtrodden and oppressed on display. Like Hagar in Genesis 16. Likewise, Jesus was drawn to the outsider and the broken hearted. His life was marked by meals shared with tax collectors and sinners, healing sick, and welcoming the Samaritans when it was culturally unacceptable. Our call is to be imitators of Christ as we reach out to our city with care and compassion.
