The Christian faith is centered around a book, the Word of God, that tells the story of the triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the good news of the gospel. It’s through the Bible that God reveals Himself and what He has done and is doing through the person and work of Jesus Christ.

So as Christians, we devote ourselves to the study of Scripture because how can we love God if we don't know God? This looks like time regularly spent reading and meditating on the Bible personally. It looks like teaching, exploring and understanding the Bible with our families and with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We pursue God, through His Word, with our minds in hopes that what we know in our heads will become true in our hearts, as the Father shapes us more into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
